Post by jcoliver »

What is he fuel pressure supposed to be on a 89 prelude?
The reason I am asking my prelude is running really lean.

Fuel pressure for the B20A5 should be 35-41psi at fuel filter.

If you have low pressure, check your fuel filter lines for blockage/breakage.

Are you running lean on a hot engine?

It is over heating also
I got a new radiator, new water pump, new fans, new head gasket, head plained .008 thousands to make flat, and when it was off I changed all water hoses and thermastat, and it is still overheaing. when we pulled the plugs it look really lean, it also has new fuel pump

Are you sure you have the right thermostat and didn't put it in backwards? Gotta ask, because I've seen it done.

Did you bleed the coolant system after doing all that work? You might just have a lot of air in your lines. You have to bleed it for it to work well.
