so ive searched and nothing seems to answer my question...
ok ive dicked around with these long enough for today
ive checked all fuses none are blown, Relay seems to be ok but i almost think thats what it is connections are just fine and ive checked the bulbs and thier not blown
Did you check that the switch itself is working, and that the bulbs are good? You may have already done this, but I like to start with the simplest stuff first.
Are these the stock fog lights you're referring to, or are they aftermarket ones that you installed yourself.
i am currently running the sylvania silverstars h3 st's in my fogs the bulbs are fine ive checked them and the switch is fine ive tested a new one with my old one and they still are not working so the switch is fine............grounding is ok as well checked that too so im sitting here wondering what in gods name is wrong with these things????
Sounds like you've worked through the simple things just fine. Time to start chasing down the problem more aggressively. Starting with the positive circuit, try to chase down any breaks there might be. Use a multimeter if you have one, and refer to the wiring diagram I've attached.
Pay special attention to the No.9 Fuse leading into the fog switch. You can also use a multimeter to check for voltage on this wire when the switch is off and on.
Electrical gremlins are a pain in the behind, but work through it slowly, and you'll get it.
