Hi Guys,
I decided not to part out the newly acquired parts car as it is just too good to do, so I am looking for an exhaust camshaft for a 90-91 B20A or B20A5 head. My cam is fine except for the woodruff key slot is buggered and the end of the shaft is worn now from the sprocket being loose and will be too diffifcult to repair.
So, dig through your parts bucket and let me know what you have.
Cheers
Paul
Anyone have an extra exhaust cam for sale?

Re: Anyone have an extra exhaust cam for sale?
Paul, I just came across a '90 Prelude with a B20A5 in my search for a couple of replacement rockers and both cams were still in it. I don't know what he'd charge for a cam, but I only paid $10 for the rockers. Also, they pulled a timing belt cover from the same motor and sold it to me for $50. I have to think the cam would be pretty fairly priced.
While I'm writing this, I'm not sure why I'm giving someone else dibs on my new find, but I think back to when I was trying to find parts for my baby and I wish someone had done the same for me.

Dunno where you're at, but hopefully this helps! Let me know!

Hi Tonedef,
Thanks for that. I will keep it on my list of possibles. I am located in Vernon BC, so I would like to find one in Canada. There should be hundreds of these cars at the wreckers but I am surprised at the lack of them. They must be old enough to have become crusher bait.
Cheers

I know it! I scoured the entire state, and it would seem that this is the only 3rd gen around. Good luck in your search.

You probably know this, but just to be sure:
Don't forget, that you can also use the cam from a B21A1 engine as they are the same. This will widen your search a bit.
Don't worry, these engines are out there.
