Hi newbie from Oz

Post by miandamyhonda »

Hi all, I am new to this forum and also to the Honda Fraternity, but I am hooked already.

I have just recently bought a 1988 Prelude 4WS IS, it is stock but I love it.

I look forward to getting to know this car and hopefully improve it with some help from you guys.

Here is a pic of my car I took this afternoon.

That's a great pic!

It looks to me like you've found a very solid stock Honda Prelude. That's a great find, and a great startign point for any project. From the picture, it looks like it's more or less rust free. Paint looks okay, and since you're from Australia, you've got some of the nicer features like fender-side indicators and clear corner lamps. Great lude.

Anyway, welcome to the forums. Don't be afraid to ask any question at all. We're happy to help people of all skill levels here.

Thanks for the welcome,

I have only minor plans at this stage, maybe some rims, tint the windows, the usual exhaust and air intake nothing to big.

Well we will see after I get started. LOL

That's a good pic! Great shine on the paint. Is it the original paint?

Keep it clean on the outside, don't ruin the great lines with body kits and silly looking wheels.

This is a great looking car just like it is.

And of course, it's the PERFECT color! ;-)
