electric windows and sunroof work without key im ignition

Has anyone ever had the electric windows and sunroof work without the key in ignition? The first time I noticed this was after my friend had to use coat hanger to get in my car, I locked my keys inside DOH. My locks are not electric on my 92 prelude si.

Not an urgent problem, due to the fact that my car still runs fine without this problem fixed.

Doesn't seem right to me. I wonder if you might be having trouble with your ignition switch, or perhaps the ignition lock itself. Does the radio also work when this happens? It might be that your ACC position on the ignition switch is staying activated.

The radio does not unless on turn the ignition on.

It doesn't feel like there is a problem in the ignition, but could very well be. when I pull the key out, my steering wheel will lock up.
It seems my electrical system my be out of whack somewhere.

If the radio doesn't turn on then I don't think you're getting stuck in the ACC position. It still might be worthwhile to have a quick look at the ignition switch, but you should also start looking for a short somewhere.
