hai spiffy and ever1,
Just for your info,im almost finish replacing the oil pan gasket, upper ball joint, lower ball joints, arm bushes, tie rod end and cv boots..a bit tiring with the stubborn bolts actually but everything is fine hopefully(first time tho) eheh..anyway i just wandering if the ball joints(lower & upper) from 2ws n 4ws are the same? because mine is 4ws.
Secondly, regarding the camshaft, is it possible to change it without pulling out the head? from my reading in the manual book..the picture shows the camshaft could be remove it without pulling out the head..i guess
Thanks
Cheers
Ariffin

Re: ball joints and Camshaft
If you're referring to the ball joints on the front of the car, yes they're the same. To my knowledge, the 4WS differs mechanically only in the back end.
You can change the camshaft without pulling the head. If you take the valve cover off and get the timing belt off, they can be unbolted and removed.
