i have a 92 Honda prelude si 2.3 i got the head done i bent all the valves so got new valves in it and everything a shop did it and now when i get it all back together my valves lash is making noise and i keep setting them and they keep making noise i am doing my (in 0.009) and my (ex 0.017) can anyone help me plz

How bad is the noise? All overhead cams make some noise.

When you do the adjustment, are you inserting the feeler gauge when valve spring is in the fully relaxed position?

Yes i am and it sound like there is a socket in there that is how bad the noise is

Any chance the adjustment bolts weren't re-tightened after adjustment and the set screws have loosed off? Is the timing set correctly and were the new valves the correct size and length?

It migh have and the timing is right and i had a shop do buy and do the valves so i hope it is done right

Start by double-checking things. You can use our video for a rough idea of the procedure, although we demonstrated on a 3rd gen. The lash can't appear out of thin air so there must be a mechanical reason for your troubles.

Idk what is the matter with it i drove it the other day and it drove fine and now tonight it just started to die everytime when i push in my cluch

Okay so is the ex and in rocker arms the same o are they a lil diff cuz when i put the car back together the shop that fone my head said it didn't matter where they go so they are not in the hole that came out of

Yes, the rocker arms on the intake and exhaust side are the same.
