question: i just got my prelude 86, 1.8l engine and in the registration book it says that engine is 77 kw, but on the net i saw 75 for that same engine, now i feel confused about power, rpm and other..? this is my first honda ( i had audi, vw, fiat.. ) and i`m from croatia, europe.

There were several different 1.8 litre engines made for the 86 Lude. The horsepower likely differs slightly between each one. What is your engine code? There's a stamp on your engine block next to the flywheel check window on the transmission bell housing. Your engine could me stamped as something like A18A1, ET1, or others.

i checked, it is 77 kw, or 105 hp, automatic 4 gear trans, the car is great, it was in bad shape, now i repaired car body, registrated it, soon ill put in new seats and biger rear bumper, wheels are 13 but ill put 15 on, exhaust and air filter will be modified.. thing by thing at the time and i think it will be a rocket in the end. thanks for help!
