Injector size?

Post by Sir Kyle »

Can anyone tell me the stock fuel injector size on an H22? I want to bump mine up a little bit and I'm not sure what to start with. Thanks.

Depending on whether you have an OBD1 or OBD2 computer:

OBDI = peak and hold 345cc
OBDII = saturated 290cc

Thanx you never let me down. I'll be runing bigger cams so I'm thinking I'd bump up to 310cc. What do you think?

Depending on your cam profile, it might be overkill. The ECU in your car does a lot of work to mix fuel amounts correctly. Even with the new cam my guess is that the ECU will be able to compensate for the slightly higher volume of air and adjust the injector pulse width appropriatly. Your oxygen sensor will tell the ECU whether you're running lean or rich and adjust as needed.

Unless you're planning on running forced induction, I would propose that you try using the stock injectors and see if the ECU can keep up.
