problem choosing wheel sizes

Post by flyinhawaiian93 »

Right now i have 19 inch rims on my '92 prelude si but i want to go to a smaller rim, how would i do this with out lowering the car too much because it sits around 6 inchs off the ground.
(I dont know too much about wheels so if this sounds like a bad question i'm sorry)

This is easy enough. All you need to do is get a thicker tire. If you have 19s, you probably have like 30-series tires, very low profile. Just get a tire with a slightly taller sidewall and the overall diameter of wheel and tire will remain the same.
