Replacing By-Pass hose on IAC Valve

Post by olivernon »

Is there any known technique to replace the by-pass hose from the IAC valve to the intake manifold without removal of the manifold? Thanks, i'm desperate ...its leaking out of the wazoo :)

Olivernon,

First, welcome! and Thanks for posting!

As far as I know, no. There isn't. But I am checking on it. I have an idea but I truly don't think it's viable.

Will get back to you.

Olivernon,

Thanks for visiting. Great to have you here.

What engine do you have? H22, H23, F22?

hose replace

Actually, after looking at it, you should NOT have to remove the intake to replace that hose. It's a simple end to end connection and the ends are quite accessible. Unless you're looking at a different hose? Could that be the case?
