i got my prelude about 3 weeks ago and still to this day i can not find the obd. i would think it would be right under the steering wheel but i cant find it there. if any one knows where i could find it i would greatly appreciate it.

Are you referring to the ECU? It should be located in the passenger side footwell underneath the carpet flap.

i dont have time now to check it but is that where you get it plugged in for a code reader?

Close, but not quite. I think the code reader on your car is on the passenger side of the center dash near where the moulding meets the carpet. The ECU itself is under the carpet and under a metal plate in the passenger footwell.

He has a 92 lude so he won't have a port to plug a code reader (OBD2) instead he has the the plug you have to jumper (OBD1) then read the flashes of his CEL to get the codes.
