f22a1 converted to h23
would it be better to use vtec parts and convert it to vtec or nonvtec?

When you're coming from non-vtec, it's always going to be easier to go to non-vtec. That way you won't have as much difference in ecu department, etc.

Yeah true, but im changing out the ecu anyways and im getting a ecu tunned for my engine, and i can either get vtec or non vtec

Do you have a head from an H22? If so, then go VTEC. Otherwise, you won't be able to get VTEC on the H23, unless you've gotten your hands on one of the legendary blue top H23 VTEC engines from Japan.

Like that, yes. Assuming that the ebay lister has correctly identified the engine. I'd feel more comfortable if they included a snapshot of the engine stamp.

That ebay listing is an Attarco listing- I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. They're very reputable.
