I have bought a 91 prelude 2.1 si in north Dakota recently and the transmission dipstick is missing.
I have called the dealerships and they can't help, I plan on finding one when I head
back east soon but I would like to check the level before I head out on a 800 mile trip, so I am wondering if anyone here could help by possibly measuring the length of dipstick and the length of the full mark to the bottom of the dipstick.

I have a manual tranny. Sorry.
Anyone have an automatic lude that can give this guy a hand?

So far I can't get any information from any Honda dealerships and can't find a transmission in a salvage yard. Is this automatic transmission that rare?

Not really that rare. You should be able to find one.

My local junkyard has 3 3rd gens, all automatics. Couldn't tell if the dipsticks were there though; two have been there awhile.
