ello everyone, im the current owner of a 2.0 SOHC UK model 1998 glossy black lude
was having an argument with a friend the other day, maybe you guys/girls could shed some light on the answer lol: can you have a 2.0 ltr prelude with vtec as standard or is the vtec only on the 2.2 ltr dohc ludes?
i know that the sohc does come with vtec but is this the case in preludes?

It's true that you can get a 2.0L SOHC VTEC engine, but these were not available in the Prelude. The only VTEC engine that was offered in the Prelude was the H22 which is a 2.2L and was available in certain 4th generation models and in all the 5th generation models.
