I have a 5th gen and trying to debate over 17's or 18's? Help!!!!!!!!!

My gut says: "go with the 17s"

However, it would be great if you could expand on what you're going to be using the car for. Usage really plays into appropriate rim choice.

For example, if you are going to take your car to the track, I would tell you to go get yourself a set of Rota 17 inches wrapped in Toyo 35 series rubber.

On the other hand, if you are building a show car, I might tell you to get some 18 inch Konigs and wrap them in 30 series Yokos.

In that case, 18s could work. I've always liked the look of Konig wheels.

If you go with 17" wheels then I'd recommend a 215/40 size tire which is a smidge smaller overall diameter than OEM size.
