Help Please
I have a 92 Prelude si 2.3 auto., the car starts fine, but idols @ 2000 rpms.sometimes it surges but not always The idol goes down to 1000 when I put it in gear. Car runs fine as long as rpms stay low. as soon as rpms hit 3000 the tac starts jumping but engine doesn't miss at all until I hit about 35 or 40 mph then it starts cutting out and I don't have any power (I can't go over 50mph). The car doesn't die and check engine light doesn't go on. As long as I stay under 35 mph it runs fine. Does anyone have any idea what's the problem, or what to check??

Re: Help Please
Sounds like it could be a bad TPS sensor, or maybe a bad speed sensor.
For starters, follow the steps on this page: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14
and make sure that you aren't getting any error codes from your ECU.
