I can say that the Tom Tom products seem to work pretty good.
Stay away from the cheaper ones. If it's under a hundred bucks, you're going to get what you pay for.
Spend about 130 - 150 and you'll do ok.
One thing about Tom Tom is they have EXCELLENT customer service, based in the US.
