i've seen a few ebay items but has anyone ever done this to there car? how hard would it be?, / dangerous???

Are you referring to the ability to shoot flames out the exhaust pipe?

People used to put those on their hot rods all the time. I don't imagine it's very hard, although I don't fancy the thought of having an open flame anywhere near my car.

well i bought 1 on ebay about 4 years ago and i almost hooked it up to the cavalier but i was hesitant to drill through the exhaust pipe at an angle to put the spark plug in. i was just curious if anyone's done this. ex: how far back on the exhaust pipe to put the spark plug. and how to wire the plug to a switch

Not sure.

If you did it, you'd be the first person I know of to have one on a Prelude. Careful though; don't want to start any car fires.

Lemme be the first to say STAY AWAY from those evil kits on Ebay that contain igniters, gas lines, pumps, etc.

You'll set your car on fire.

Or melt the ass off it ... like foolishness such as this :
