Front seal
I have a 1985 with a bad front seal. Is the crankshaft bolt left or righthand thread?

Re: Front seal
Hi Frank.
Thanks for joining the forums.
As fas as I know, that bolt is a normal bolt. Turn left to loosen. It'll be seized up pretty bad though...they usually are.
Someone back me up.

Re: Front seal
He'll get it, don't worry.
Might take the use of an impact wrench, but they always come off.
If you don't have an impact wrench, get a socket on there and use a hammer to send some wicked vibrations into the ratchet handle and the socket itself. It'll come off.
