11991 Staites SI Prelude Throttle Position Sensor

Postby jayped » Tue Feb 19, 2013 4:50 pm

Greetings to all Prelude Fans from a Newbie.

Has anyone any idea where I can obtain an exact replacement throttle position sensor for the Staites SI Prelude
It is a 1991 model with limited slip Diff, ABS brakes and climate control. The track on the existing one has developed a hole that produces some erratic throttle response.

As the TPS sensor is fastened (usually permanently) to the throttle body on these cars, it might be easiest to just find a throttle body on eBay and swap it out.

The throttle body on your car should be the same as most other 3rd gens.

Would love to see pics of your car. The SI States edition is very rare.
