Air intake

It seems that most people say that all an air intake does is make your motor louder....So do i really want thats as a 52 yr old man..?.I think not
The louder sound is really only noticeable about about 3000rpm. Below that, things should be more or less the same.
Plus, they're good for a few extra horsepower, especially if you buy a quality unit.
