Radiator Fan

ok ive gotten most things fixed on my car but my fan doesnt seem to be turning on and i dont want to bust my radiator again...and advice?

I just had mine replaced recently and the motor was dead. I didnt get to check any fuses or wiring, it was discovered when i had the engine swapped. This is probably, a backyard mechanic suggestion lol, but you could hook up a battery to the (+) and (-) parts of the fan just to see if its the motor. Oh yeah, check out the post called Cooling Fans.

It's probably either wiring to the fan, or the temp sensor in the bottom of the radiator isn't working. Check the wiring of the temp sensor.

would it have a temp sensor on the bottom of an aftermarket radiator too?

It should. The ECU needs the output of that sensor.

would it still pass smog even without it? im supposed to get the smog done this week but wont have a chance to get under it till saturday

It should. But be wary of your engine temperature because that sensor is required to activate the radiator fan.
