Stereo Fuse

Earlier this morning my CD player suddenly stopped working. It's an aftermarket Kenwood, and the manual for it says the most likely option is that the fuse for it blew. My question is, where is the fuse for it located, in the engine bay or inside the car? The 4th gen repair manuals weren't downloading properly.

Aftermarket CD decks often have a fuse stuck right in the back of them. Check your fuse bank in the car first, otherwise I'd quickly slide the deck out and see if it is equipped with a fuse. Check the manual for the stereo if you still have it.
Still having trouble downloading?

I went to do that, and the first thing I did was pop the cover off. The unit started flashing, so I put the cover back on, and it worked fine as before.

From my phone, yes.

Weird that it would suddenly start working again like that. Oh well...glad you're at least able to listen to tunes again.
The manuals only download when you're signed in. I assume you had signed in on your phone?

I am now. It still doesn't work. I know it did before with the 3rd gen manuals.

Which one exactly are you trying to download? Or does it not work for any of them?
