hay hows it going so i was looking at lude again and i found where my leek is coming from and its leaking out the boot on the rack and pinion stearing when i turn, would that be a seal inside the boot???

Likely. The boot itself isn't there to seal the fluid in, just to keep dirt and grime out. The actual leak will be inside the rack somewhere.
