WHEN STARTING UP IN " GEAR 2" CAR RUNS FINE, SHIFT TO S3 OK BUT PUT ON SOME ACCELERATION IT SEEMS TO WIND ,THEN SHIFT TO D IT SKIPS S4 THEN IN D IT WINDS FIRST THE IT WILL KICK IN THEN AGAIN IT SLIPS BACK INTO WINDING AND THEN BACK INTO DRIVING OK. SOUNDS LIKE IT IS INBETWEEN GEARS. ALSO THE OVER DRIVE BUTTON ON THE STICK DOESN'T CLICK IN. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH ITS BEHIND GEARS ONE. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT WITH THIS? DRIVING AT 60MPH. WHAT SHOULD THE TACH READ. I'M SHOWING AT 60MPH. THE TACH READS ABOVE 4500 RPM. I THINK THAT THIS IS INCORRECT SHOULDN'T IT READ BELOW OR AT LEAST 3000RPM. I JUST RECENTLY REPLACED THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR, VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR AND THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR ALONG WITH THE THROTTLE CABLE. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT? I URGENTLY NEED TO RECEIVE A RESPOND ASAP

Ok. A few things I'd like you to check.

Is your ECU light or S4 light on/flashing. If you car is throwing any error codes, we should start with those, especially since you just replaced a few components in your engine.

Was the car behaving this way before you replaced your TPS, Coolant Temp sensor, etc?

Here are instructions on how to test your shift control solenoid. This is something you should do as well.
