I have a 1990 Prelude Si with a 1958 cc (2.0L) engine.Automatic Transmission. I just replaced the timing belt, tentioner, harmonic balancer,IVAC valve, fast idle sensor valve, and egr valve gasket ( and yes it hurt the bank)[all parts brand new from local dealer, nothing used].Anyways got everything together and now having hard time getting car to idle right.I have bleed the cooling systems for 2 days now, and no air bubbles. I have no lights flashing on my ECU, and I have tried resetting it by pulling the fuse to the clock. Can anyone please help me to get her on the road again?

Hi redludedown. Welcome to PreludeDriver.com. We'll try our best to help you out.
Glad to hear that you've replaced all those parts, so we know mechanically you're in good order.
The first thing I'll ask is whether or not the timing has been set using a timing light? You likely did this when you changed the timing belt, but if you haven't, that would be a good place to start.
Next I would ask if your engine is running rough because one of the cylinders isn't firing. Running on 3 cylinders would cause a rough engine run, and could be a result of your reassembly. Are you certain that all the plug wires are seated well. Are all the spark plugs functional and gapped correctly? Is your distributor functioning properly?
You say that you have an idle problem. What type of idle problem? Is the idle bouncing? Is it refusing to idle? Does it idle way too low? When you set the idle, be sure to do it with the EACV disconnected and then use the adjustment screw to zero in a warm engine at 650 rpm or so. Then shut it down, and plug the EACV valve back in. The EACV valve is the cylinder shaped valve with the two prong plug that is bolted with two bolts to the front center of your intake plenum.
Double check to make sure all your injectors are hooked up as you may have disconnected them during your timing belt swap.
Hit us back with more details and we'll help you out.
