Hello all,

I took my lude in to get the muffler replaced and the dealer called me back to say that I also needed a new B-Pipe? Cost $698.000. What the heck is a B-Pipe? Can I buy the part myself and save some money? if so where? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for your question.

The B Pipe is the center section of your exhaust system. It is after the catalytic converter and before the muffler section. A new one from Honda should cost about $150 or less, so the amount quoted you is way too high. You can order them on www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or go to your local Honda dealer. Furthermore, these are pretty easy to install, so don't get ripped off by a mechanic for this job.

Senor Guido, thanks for the info I called the dealership which has my car and queried then on the price, they said that, this was the price for all the parts and labor I had requested. With that I am happy

Are you going to do it yourself or just let them do it?

I will just let them do the work! I have limited time these days.....
