Noobie with H22A4 idle surge

Hi I just bought a 92 SI with an H22A4 from an 01 lude. ive read in the 4th gen forums for idle surge about checking the seal in the IAC but i was wondering if its in the same location on the H22A4?

Should be in the same location. The IAC is on the side of the intake plenum. I've attached a schematic that should help you.

Hey I just fixed my idle surge and mine was the fast idle thermo valve...
Pull of your intake pipe and stick your hand in the throttle body(of course with the motor off). There will be 2 holes find them then start the motor plug the top hole in the throttle body if the idle stops surging its the fast idle thermo valve....
If not I have a iac valve I could sale for cheap..
