Clock door fix!

Well I just bought a 1991 SI 5 speed, and guess what, the clock door was MIA! So I order a new basil, and it came in the wrong interior color - brown.
Funny thing happen while I was installing a new stereo, I found the original clock door in the storage compartment next to the cig lighter.
So I went to the junk drawer in my shop looking for some sort of a very small spring! There it was, a tire valve cord, right there in the junk drawer. I cut a piece of the spring and used a small soidering iron to melt it into the right side hinge hole of the old door. I then was able to pop it back into place in the old basil.
So if someone needs a new basil and door in brown, let me know.
