So I just bought my 96 VTEC Prelude, and the heat and air conditioner don't work. Air comes out of the vents, but the temperature won't change. This is my first car, any ideas? Thanks!

So when you slide the temperature selector, there is no effect?

When you push the button to turn on your AC, what color is the light that lights up. When you turn on the AC when the car is running, do you hear the AC pump engage (the motor will strain for a split second)?

like spiffyguido said that would be the first thing to do, and i would leave the car running and ac on and look under the hood at the ac compressor and see if the cluch is kicking on, and make sure that the compressor is even plug in(wired up).
