B21a1 bore to a 23 or higher???

Post by lucci »

My b21a1 clearly has a 2.l liter displacement. I was wondering if i have the same engine out of the car how much do i need to bore out of each cylinder to make it a 2.3 liter displacement or higher. how much more power will i get out of it?

I don't think that you can bore out the B21A1 any at all. The cylinder liners are made of FRM (Fibre Reinforced Metal), which won't respond well to boring. Plus, they're very thin to start with (but very strong).
