headlight conversion. (3rd gen to 5th gen)

hey guys. i have an aus spec 3rd gen. looking to fit 5th gen headlights to it. any ideas how i'd go about it?

You're going to have to figure out the dimensional changes that need to be made to the headlight area on the third gen to fit the 5th gen casings. This will require some changes because they're certainly not the same.

Why do you want to do this? I believe it is possible to buy an aftermarket headlight casing that fits the 3rd gen but doesn't use the pop up headlights.

yeah thought about the aftermarket side of things but parts like that are harder to come by in australia. i like the shape of the 5th gen lights. think itd really blend well with the 3rd gen look.
