Brake master cylinder

Post by 91darkness »

So, i have to replace the reservoir for the brake master cylinder. I have been shopping around on eBay and have found quite a few in my price range. The problem i see is that some say w/o abs and w/abs. The ones with abs are about $100 and the ones without are around $45. My lude is an 91 abs model, but does the master cylinder have to mach up with the separate abs system. I just don't know which one to get.

Hmmm...I didn't know that they were different. I guess that makes a bit of sense.

I'd go with the one for ABS if I were you. I'm sure there's a reason.

just got in the brake master cylinder. It wasnt too bad getting it out but putting it back in was a chore. Trying to get the nut that goes on the brake line back in the Brake master was the longest part of the install. My brakes feel great now!
