The rough ride would likely just be because the springs are compressed.

I've never heard of that setup being fitted to a Prelude. Would love to see pics if they are still installed.

Im goin to look under there tommorrow and see, but I'd rather have a great set of lowering springs for ride quality and handling, the last thing I want is a bouncy lowrider.

I can't say enough good things about the set of Tokico struts and matching springs that I have. Easily the best mod I've ever made to my car in terms of pure driving enjoyment. Worth every penny.

This is what I have:

Tokico HPK223 HP Suspension Kit for Honda Prelude

Ok, I hit 6500 today, messing with a gen 5 around 65-70mph redline being 6800, and the battery light came on immediately what's that about?

I'd check the alternator. It would have been spinning pretty fast and something malfunctioned.

So, I'm pretty sure the alternator is goin out. When I turn the headlights on they were real dim, and the radio went off and the car kinda jerked around when I tried to drive at night time.

Yeah. Alternator most likely.

Have your battery tested to be sure it's okay before you spring for a new alternator, but I bet that's the source of your troubles.

Most major stores that sell car batteries will test them for free. Walmart, etc.

It was the alternator, I put a new one on with a new belt, and all is well. I also picked up a new set of NGK plugs, ordered a set of red 8.0mm Taylor plug wires, and a WeaponR cold air induction for my new 89'.
