3rd Gen Prelude DC Header for sale

Postby california3rdgen » Sun Oct 10, 2010 2:52 pm

Hi all,
I have a DC header and 2-1 pipe off my 89 Prelude. I took it off because I thought it was causing me problems with the California smog test. Turns out it was a wiring issue and not the header, but I don't want to go to the trouble of putting back on. The header is California Air Resources Board legal. I'll throw in a good O2 sensor with it. $200 + $25 shipping.

respond here or email me at ken dot friesen at sbcglobal dot net.

That's a very reasonable price.

Someone should snap it up soon. These are very hard to find.

Someone is interested in the header I have for sale but he has a 91 with a 2.1l engine. I told him I would check to make sure that this header (off a 89 B20A5) would work. Anybody know for sure?
Thanks.

It should. I know for a fact that the intake runners are interchangeable between the B21A1 and B20A5, so I imagine the ports and flanges would match up on the exhaust side as well. The heads of the B20A5 and B21A1 are very similar.

thanks. that is what I thought as well. I'm sad to get rid of it, but I would rather not go to the trouble of putting it all back on right now. Hopefully someone else will make good use of it.
