What type of gas do you use with an H22a4 engine... is it Regular, Plus or Premium?

The owners manual will list Premium, so I'd go with that.

I second that.

Important to go with the manufacturers suggested fuel type. Running lower grade than what is on the dash markings, in the owner's manual and on the flap of the fuel tank door WILL eventually ruin your engine, it is as short and simple as that.

If it says Premium, then use ONLY Premium 91 or higher octane. Sure, in a pinch if you had no choice, then you could run a tank of low grade fuel safely, the engine computer (knock sensor) will retard ignition timing and prevent detonation, you'll notice poor performance and lower gas mileage. The engine is designed to safely run on lower grade fuels, but not designed to run on them all the time.
