Well, it does kind of look like it's a miniaturized car. I needed a little more in the fore and back grounds to make it work, but that's the only picture I had on this computer.

I like messing with Tilt-Shift'in. It's fun. (click on the picture to get the full size image, in order to get the effect)

This is a good one. You can really get the full effect.
This is Auckland City from Mount Victoria. Click on the image to get full effect (and click on the clicked image for the best effect) the bigger the image, the higher the res and the better the impact of tilt-shift.

Reminds me of the sets from Thunderbirds and all those cool retro stop-action Sat morning puppet shows from the late 60's and 70's.

How're you doing this?

It's called Tilt-Shift. You can use PhotoShop or PaintShop and other various graphics styled programs, but there are some online that you can upload your own image and tweak it via their interface and then save the final product. It can be fun especially if you have the right landscape or image.

Here's the link for the online do-it-yourself interface:

Here's a great shot of the western edge of my city. This was taken from a higher parking deck in the more city-central/high rise section of the city. This image gives you a partial view of the older "downtown" area. Works great because of the smaller buildings and all the cars. Really gives that "diorama" feel to the picture.

Don't forget, to click on the above image to get the "full-effect" ..... :D
