New Lude

Post by Phukaduck »

I just bought a new 1994 prelude, and i have 50$ to spend on it.. i was wondering which made higher HP gains: Blue foglights, or a snazzy shifter?

Thanx.
Sincerely,
Prelude Enthusiest.

Frig. Nice one P-Duck. You did however forget mystery poll option #3; a JDM oil pan. JDM oil pans are the only way to put the big numbers on the dyno.

Thanks for stopping by, bro.

Cheers.

I've been looking in tot he JDM oil pans... I think that's the way i'm going to go. Is there an after market pan available at a more affordable price?
Perhaps mugen makes one in a light wieght billet alluminum? I want annodized blue color too so it matches my sweet custom painted Blue n' Lime interrior.

Come on guys.....we all know that the ONLY real way to get an HP gain is to cover your car in Japanese characters and lettering and Type R badges.

And of course there's Mugen washer fluid.

$50 bucks? Fog lights (if you can find any for that little)

$50 = K&N Air Filter....that's where I'd put the money.

See the poll results? I win! That's because I'm the only one who voted.

Yeah though, the K&N filter is a good idea. Didn't think about that. Of course that's just the filter, no tube, etc. Which is fine, but don't ya think it would be better to put the 50 toward a short ram intake instead, later on down the road?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure you're the official spokesperson for the stuff, aren't you.

thank you all for your helpful responses... it turns out i spent my 50$ at the strippers on Saturday and got a fancy keychain.
The weight difference between that and my old keychain has produced significant power gains, however, i'm finding it very difficult to make the whole quarter mile without looking down to ensure Misty Muffin is still as naked as she was when I dropped the clutch on first gear.

Sincerely,
Happy Preluder

Moved to "Just For Fun" because this topic shouldn't really be in "General"

Thanks.
